Table top sale, 29 November
We’re holding a table top sale on 29 November from 2 - 5pm in the Hempnall village hall. It’s £5 per table for anyone who wants to sell at the event, and there will be a cake stall and refreshments.
Christmas events
For Christmas this year we have our Carol Service at the Mill on 4 December, a Carol Service for parents on 12 December, Nativity for Rising 5’s only on 17 December and our Christmas Party on 18 December.

Help raise money for Chequers Playgroup

If you shop online then you could help raise money for our Playgroup every time you buy something - simply by going to EasyFundraising.org.uk first, instead of straight to your favourite online stores.

How to use EasyFundraising.org.uk
If you're new to EasyFundraising.org.uk, then follow these simple steps and start donating to our Playgroup today!
- Go to www.easyfundraising.org.uk

. - Click on the 'Register' link (in white on the blue bar near the top).
- On the registration form, where it says Charity/Organisation, type 'Chequers' in the box and click on 'Search'. Then select Chequers Playgroup when it appears.
- Fill out the rest of the form with your name and contact details.
- Click on the 'Accept & Register' button.
Once you've registered, every time you return you can log in using your email address and the password you chose during registration. Once you're in, follow the link to the store where you want to shop and EasyFundraising.org.uk will automatically tell the store which charity to donate to when you buy.
Donations from the retailers vary from 1% to around 5%. It may not seem like much, but every penny counts and we would really appreciate any help you can give us to raise money.

Yellow Moon
Yellow moon offer up to 25% cash back for Chequers on their range of craft products. Periodically catalogues will be sent home from playgroup, and orders can be placed by parents whenever they like.
Alternatively, parents, family or friends can order directly on their website www.yellowmoon.org.uk throughout the year quoting the source code SCH11203 for Chequers Playgroup to benefit.
School Link
School Link are a branch of the Book People, and they offer good value books. For every book ordered Chequers receive 10% commission in books, and for every £100 spent, we receive extra books.
School Link send out magazines to our Chequers representative roughly every six weeks. Our representative sets a date for orders to be received then places a collective order, in this way postage is usually free of charge. Alternatively, orders can be made independently quoting our school link number 0006059121 at the website www.schoollink.co.uk .
