The Chequers Playgroup blog

From September, parents will now be entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare a week from the term after their child turns 3.  We have finally sorted out how to arrange the new extended hours.  We are happy to be able to offer a full day (9-3) session on a Wednesday from September!  Other session times and prices will remain the same.

So the committee are now in the driving seat of this great new site.  Andy who built the site for us has done a fantastic job and if you spot any bloopers – that would be us and not him!

This week, the fundraising committee are busy sorting out the Easter Bingo fundraiser.  Raffle Prizes and Easter Eggs gratefully recived.  Watch this space for more details……….

Welcome to the new look Chequers website. We’ve had our website for over two years now, so we thought it was time to give it a fresh coat of paint and make it easier to keep it up to date.

The Chequers website is now managed directly by the playgroup Committee, so we can make changes to the site quicker and more easily than before, meaning we can keep you up to date with what’s happening at the playgroup in a more timelay manner.

We intend to use the site to post news items and announcements, so if you have a child at Chequers Playgroup please make sure you bookmark our site and keep an eye on it for changes.
